A 19th Century Mahogany and Marble Console Table. The marble top resting on a rounded mould edge, above the concave tapering frieze. The frieze supported by generously scrolled jambs, with raised leading edge. The jambs finished with scroll toes, and the back with a mirror plate. The whole on a rectangular plinth softened by a concave upper edge. All in very well chosen figured mahogany. Date c 1840. Height 33 1/2 inches, width 21 1/4 inches, depth 14 1/4 inches.Ref: 21052
