A 19th Century Mahogany Canterbury. The canterbury with downward swept rails, forming three divisions, each with flat side uprights. The lower body with a cockbeaded, mahogany lined drawer mounted with a rosette decorated brass knob. The Canterbury standing on four ringed and tapering legs, finished with brass cup castors. In excellent condition throughout and of good hard, close grained, mahogany. Date c 1840. Height 20 inches, 51cm. Width 18 inches, 46cm. Depth 12 inches, 31cm.Ref:
