A good, and ingenious, 19th century mahogany combination table. The fossiled table top with a second tray- edged top which fits over the marble surface. The tray- edged top can be used to one side with a green leather surface and can also be turned over to a baize card playing surface,. The frieze set with a flush drawer and the table raised up on three gun barrel columns, with ring caps and bases. The legs joined at the base with broad swept stretchers, meeting at a circular boss. The whole raised up on small disc feet.
