A 19th Century Mahogany Partners Desk. The top with a gilt tooled leather surface, within crossbanded borders, and centred by a rising writing/reading slope, with ratchet action. One side of the desk with three frieze drawers above the pedestals each with three graduated drawers. All the drawers with spire topped knob handles, and brass keyhole inserts. Each pedestal with a chamfered plinth ad recessed castors. Date c 1840. Height 29 1/4 inches, width 43 1/4 inches, depth 33 1/2 inches.Ref: 20746
