A 19th Century Oak Hall Bench. The bench with a raised back. The pediment with a rounded and stepped under mould, over a fielded panel,finished to the ends with downward sweeping brackets, meeting the stepped and rounded lower moulding. The seat likewise edged with a concave and convex mould, above the broad rails, edged with a rounded mould. The hall bench standing on four ring turned legs, tapering in flutes to a ringed and tapering foot. Height 22 1/2 inches, 57cm. Width 39 inches, 99cm. Depth 11 inches, 28cm. Date circa 1850.Ref:
