A good quality mid-19th C burr walnut dressing box, the lid with a lift-out leather-framed mirror and stationary pocket, both finished with gilt tooling. The lift-out tray with an arrangement of cut glass boxes and bottles each with a silver-plated lid. The tray with a further collection of mother-of-pearl mounted sewing tools. The base with a spring-loaded, velvet- lined drawer for jewellery.

In very good condition throughout.
