An Early 19th Century Console Table. The console table with a good fossil marble top, over a frieze, set with a long flush drawer, opening to oak linings. The frieze drawer between flanking blocks, supported by scrolled supports, the shoulders decorated with hanging spreading leaves, finished with reeded paterae. The legs tapering to lions paw feet, resting on the rounded turret corners of the concave fronted plinth base. The whole well figured. Date circa 1830. Height 36 1/2 inches, 93cm. Width 36 inches, 92cm. Depth 18 inches, 46cm.
