An Early 19th Century Mahogany Butlers Tray and Stand. The tray with rise and fall ratchet hinged sides, with open hand holds, raised to form a rectangle and flat to for an oval tray. The centre with four panels within broad rails. The stand folding with web straps. the broad chamfered rests above the well turned and tapered legs, joined by likewise shaped cross stretchers. Date circa 1800. Dimensions, tray open flat: Height 32 inches, 81cm. Width 34 3/4 inches, 88cm. Depth 26 1/4 inches, 67cm.Ref:
