An Early 19th Century Mahogany Console Table. The table with a good and well variegated marble top, over a frieze set with a long flush drawer, mounted with ormolu flower head paterae centred by a mount of Zeus motif. The drawer flanked by tablet ends, mounted with ormolu flower and leaf rosettes, over the circular legs, capped with classical leaf collars, and tapering outward and downward to entwined leaf socles, resting on turret ends and a rounded foot, fronting the platform base, with mounts repeating the form of the drawer. Height 34 1/2 inches, 87cm. Width 44 inches, 112cm. Depth 18 inches, 46cm. Date circa 1810.Ref: 23278
