Early 19th Century Walnut Console Table. The console table with the original marble top, resting on chamfered moulds, above the flush frieze drawer centred by an ormolu palm frond and berry escutcheon plate. The flanks raised up on ionic columns, with ormolu caps and capitals decorated with flower, vine, and leaf bands. The column on rope twist and beaded socles, above turret feet, holding the raised plinth. The whole in very nice original condition, the walnut a good warm colour and patination. Height 37 inches, 94cm. Width 44 inches, 112cm. Depth 19 1/2 inches, 50cm. Date circa 1810.Ref: 21756
