An Early 19th Century Oak and Elm Windsor Arm Chair.

The hooped back enclose two tiers of circular spindles, centred by a pierced and shaped back splat.  The saddled seat surrounded by the arm rests, which are supported by turned and tapered uprights.  The chair stands on four slightly splayed ring turned legs, joined by a crinoline stretcher.

Date c 1820.

Height 35 1/2 inches, width 22 inches, depth 23 inches.
