Early 19th Century Side or Writing Table.

The top with a hinged compartment to the rear or ink bottles and pens.  The rounded corner top finished with a double mould to the facing edges above a frieze set with a cockbeaded drawer, mounted with brass handles, lock and escutcheon plate.  The frieze and corners with raised mould panel decoration finished tot the lower edge with double mould, as per the top edges.  The table standing on four ringed and tapering legs, finished with brass cup castors.

Fabulous quality and patination.

Date c 1820.

Height 30 inches, width 29 inches, depth 21 inches.
