A good quality Empire mahogany open arm chair, the slightly-curved back slightly arching upward with arms sweeping to rolled hand-holds, carved with stiff leaves, the curved arm supports likewise carved with stiff rising leaves. The legs of curved tapering form, with stiff leaf decoration to the knees, to repeat the hand holds, and the toes finished with out-rolled turns. The chair with its original pressed silk velvet classical leaf upholstery, and brass studding.
