A George III Mahogany Butlers Tray and Stand. The tray with arch sides, on brass ratchet hinges to allow the sides to be flat or vertical. Each side finished with a shaped hand hold. The centre of the tray with four panels, within broad rails. The folding tray with a webbed top, the legs joined by cross stretchers. Height with sides flat 23 1/2 inches, 60cm. Width with sides raised 31 inches, 79cm. Depth with sides raised 21 inches, 53cm. Date circa 1780.Ref: 23306
