A George III Mahogany Card Table.
The fold over top with turret corners, opening to reveal the baized playing surface, with a fielded candle stand to each turret corner. The top supported when open with a rear gate leg. The frieze conforming to the shape of the top and corners, with vertical moulds to each frieze corner. The table standing on four cabriole legs, tapering to pad feet.
Date c 1750.
