A George III Mahogany Cellarette. The hinged top with concave edged, surrounded by crossbanding with boxwood stringing, and edged with boxwood moulding edges. The body likewise with crossbanded edges, the sides with brass batwing plate lifting handles, and the interior with divisions for a case of wine. The cellarette standing on mould topped rails, joining four square tapering legs, finished with brass cup castors, complete with lock and key. Date c 1780. Height 24 inches, width 19 1/2 inches, depth 15 inches.Ref:
