A George III Mahogany Chest of Drawers. The well proportioned chest with a cleated top, ogee mould edge and cut corners, above the body of two short and three long oak lined drawers. The drawers with the original lattice and bat wing brass handles and matching escutcheons. The face of the chest finished to the sides with fluted pilasters, ending in lappet brackets. The chest standing on four ogee bracket feet. Good hard mahogany and deep patination. Height 31 1/2 inches, width 36 1/2 inches, depth 17 1/2 inches.Ref: 20814
