A George III Mahogany Corner Chair.
The broad, shaped flat topped arms, centre to the rear with a raised curved rest. the arms supported by three gun barrel ring columns, flanking pierced and swept splats. The drop in upholstered seat held within rails, shaped downward at the bracket ends to cabriole legs, tapering to pad feet. The leading leg with a shell carved knee.
Date c 1750.
