An Impressive Mid 19th Century Oak Strong Box or Silver Chest. The rectangular oak body with good wrought iron strap work in broad straps, finished with tapered scrolls. The edges with chamfered and shaped brackets. The end with substantial swan neck carrying handles. The interior vacant, and the whole standing on four shaped round feet.
