An Early 19th Century Mahogany Cellarette.
The rectangular hinged top opening to an interior fitted to accept a variety of bottles and decanters. The lid and body edged in boxwood stringing, surrounding fine boxwood stringing and cross banding. The whole on a stand with mouldings to the top and bottom of the rails, between square section tapering legs, with brass cup castors. The sides with a pair of brass carrying handles.
Date c 1800.
