A Mid 19th Century Walnut and Marble Centre, Tripod Table.  The octagonal marble top on a white ground, inlaid in coloured marbles with curved re-entrant borders, surrounding a radiating star burst, centred by a long tailed bird perched on a classical vase, planted with a trailing flower.  The column of tapering twisted form, to three swept legs, decorated with carved leaf work to the knees, and finished with scroll toes.
