A good, mid-19th C, mahogany and marble centre table/gueridon, the white marble top with a broad plate edge rim and double moulded side, resting on a circular vertical veneered frieze, the column outswept to a round socle and decorated with bold, tapering reeding. The table standing on square base, with a concave edge moulding and well-carved and scrolled lion`s paw feet to each corner.A wonderful centre table with great potential to work in either a traditional or contemporary setting
