A Mid-19th Century yew wood and elm smoker's bow, captain's chair, the broad arms sweeping to round hand- holds at the front, and centred to the rear with a raised curved back rest. The arms supported by ring and baluster-turned spindles above the well-grained saddled elm seat. The chair standing on four slightly-splayed ring and baluster-turned legs, joined by a conforming stretcher.
H 30 inches; w 25 1/2 inches; d 22 inches.
