Pair of 19th Century Leather & Mahogany Arm Chairs. The mahogany frames with high backs, the top rail arched, and sweeping downward to arms, finished with scrolled hand holds, above the swept supports. The legs shaped and scrolled as they taper to the rolled toes. The whole frame with good continuous reeded, accentuating the shaping and scrolling. The chairs upholstered in good original, well patinated, leather to the raised back rests and seats, with tooled leather binding. Date c 1830.
