Furniture >> PAIR OF EARLY 19TH C WINDSOR CHAIRS
A Pair of Early 19th Century Elm and Oak Windsor Arm Chair, each with a hooped back enclosing raked spindles, centred by pierced and shaped splats. The arms supported by ring turned and shaped verticals and the dished seats on splayed ring and shaped legs that are joined by crinoline stretchers.
These are particularly nice for the figuring of the wood, the turnings and the crinoline stretchers. They are supremely comfortable and are good examples of 19th Century country house furniture.
