Two 19th Century Oak Joint Stools. Each with a single plank seat, the seats with an overhanging edge finished with a rounded moulding. The seats above fielded frieze rails, joining the slightly splayed legs, of a fluted cup and stem design, tapering to rounded bottoms. The legs joined by fielded stretchers, as per the seat rails. Very useful! Date c 1850. Height 21 inches, width 19 inches, depth 11 inches.Ref:
