An 18th Century Mallet, Onion, Shaped Wine Bottle.

The rim with a collar, above a tall neck, tapering outward and downward to the rounded body.  The underside with a raising centre and pontil.  The whole in olive green glass.

Date c 1740.

Height 7 1/4 inches, diameter 5 1/2 inches.
