A Substantial Early 19th Century Glass Centre Bowl. The bowl with a rim finished to the underside with fine fluting, over the body sweeping in a gentle curve to a rounded cup. The body decorated with hobnail cutting, the centre of the cup with slice cut panels, flowing into the waisted stem, finished with a rounded foot. The vase standing on a square plinth with hobnail cutting, repeating the decoration of the bowl. Date circa 1830. Height 9 1/4 inches, 21cm. Width 10 1/2 inches, 27cm. Depth 10 1/2 inches, 27cm.
