An Elegant 19th Century Glass Jug. The jug with a broad rounded spout, before the sweeping rim, over the gently broadening and rounded body, with a raised and tapered scroll handle. the jug resting on a ringed and waisted socle, spreading into the circular foot, the underside with a polished pontil base. The whole in a noticeably clear dark glass. Date circa 1830. Height 11 inches, 28cm. Width 6 1/2 inches, 16cm. Depth 4 1/4 inches, 11cm.Ref:
