A good 19th century cut glass Ewer, Water Jug. The pronounced spout running away to a leaf cut rim. The broad neck with horizontal reeding, above the lower body, decorated with broad wyvern gadroons, bordered by reeding following the shape of the gadroons. The body, and decoration tapering to a spreading foot rim, the underside of which, has a radiating star cut base. The handle cut in panels, following the sweep of the handle, and finished with a thumb grip top. In very good condition. Height 8 inches, width 9 inches, depth, 5 ½ inches. Circa 1840
