An Early 19th Century Decanter. The glass decanter with a star burst fluted stopper, fitting within the tall stepped ring decorated neck. The shoulders spreading in slice cut flutes to a hobnail cut banding, and thence the body, with a fine fluted band, looking toward a broad band of fluting rising from the circular base. The underside with a polished pontil base. Date circa 1800. Height 10 inches, 25cm. Diameter 5 inches, 12.5cm.
