An Early 19th Century Carved Giltwood Mirror. The pediment well carved with scrolling leaves and foliage, from which sunflowers and berries appear. The scrolled leaves falling over the shoulders of the frame, which has a grained cushion moulding, surrounding the stepped and bolection slips, holding the original plate. The lower edges of the mirror overlapped by carved scrolling leaves, flowing to flower heads and berries. Complete with wood back boards. Date c 1800. Height 37 inches, 94cm.
