A REGENCY CONVEX MIRROR

The regency gilt convex mirror, the pediment in the form of an eagle on rocks, above the body, with a ringed rim, surrounding the deep corvetto frame, finished to the inner edge with a band of ball filled diamonds. The ebonized reeded slip, holding the original convex plate. The sides of the frame mounted with a pair of leaf decorated candle arms, sweeping upwards, and twisting to circular drip pans and ringed candle holders. Height: 78cm/30.5". Width: 61cm/24".
