An Early 19th Century Glass Picture, showing The Lass of Richmond Hill. She sits tending her sheep whilst a young man amuses her by playing a flute. The couple sit under a large tree, with a flock of sheep in the background, grazing near a grand house. The picture title to the lower margin 'THE LASS OF RICHMOND HILL'. In the original ebonized and gilt slip frame. Date circa 1800. Height 16 inches, 41cm. Width 12 inches, 31cm. Depth 3/4 inches, 2cm.
