An Early 19th Century Pier Mirror, Hall Mirror. The break front cornice with a stepped and concave profile, overhanging the frieze inlaid with a rectangular re-entrant cornered satinwood panel, surrounded by a bank of inlaid specimen wood stringing, of twist design. The original plate held within reeded slips flanked by free standing ionic columns, with satinwood inlaid tablet tops and bases. The lower friexe finished with a stepped and concave profile shaping. In very good original condition with wood back. Date c 1820. Height 33 inches, width 21 inches, depth 4 inches.
