19th Century Oil Painting of Clifton Gorge. The painting showing the Clifton Gorge with the 'new' suspension bridge and the village of Clifton , with Leigh woods and the river Avon. In the foreground people set out in rowing boats, as cattle graze on the river bank. The picture in a beaded and chamfered gilt frame. Height 13 inches, width 18 1/2 inches, depth 1 inch. Date c 1870.
