A Regency Gilt Convex Mirror. The mirror topped by an eagle pediment, the bird, with wings outstretched as he perches on rocks, whilst clasping chained gilt corvetto balls in his beak. The circular body of the mirror with a rounded triple reed rim, surrounding a deep corvetto, filled with balls, and finished with likewise a rounded inner rim. The convex plate held within a circular reeded ebonized slip. Date circa 1820. Height 31 inches, 79cm. Width 22 1/4 inches, 57cm. Depth 7 inches, 18cm.Ref: 23552
