A Regency Gilt Convex Mirror.
The top surmounted by an eagle, with wings outstretched, perched on a rocky outcrop. The eagle surmount flanked by scrolled and hanging leaves. The frame with a rounded mould rim, sweeping into a dish of corvette balls. The original convex plate held within an ebonized reeded slip. The bottom of the mirror decorated with two layers of classical leaves, centred by a petal head drop.
Date c 1820.
