An 18th Century Flint Lock Blunderbuss. The blunderbuss with an outward swept muzzle, with ringed detail, fronting the barrel, with two broadening stages, the barrel engraved for ‘LONDON’ and decorated with floral scrolling. The flint lock mechanism engraved fro ‘BARBER’ with floral scrolls, the trigger guard decorated with a petal head, whilst the strap work is finished with a classical vase. The well patinated walnut stock finished with a brass butt plate, decorated with further foliate scrolling. Complete with original ram rod. Height 9 inches, width 30 inches, depth 2 ½ inches.
