18TH C CARVED LIMEWOOD CHERUB

An 18th Century Carved Limewood Cherub. He looks forward with a happy expression on his face, his wings and arms outstretched in celebration, as he stands, his legs astride a naturalistic ground, raised on a concave and rounded profile circular plinth. Date circa 1740. Height 19 1/2 inches, 49cm. Width 11 1/2 inches, 29cm. Depth 9 inches, 23cm.
