18TH C GILT EAGLE

A Late 18th Century Carved Gilt Wood Eagle. The bird with his wings outstretched as he looks to his right. He perches, with his talons gripping a rope twist. Date circa 1790. Height 12 inches, 30cm. Width 25 inches, 64cm. Depth 4 inches, 10cm.
