19TH C BRASS DOOR PORTER

An Early 19th Century Brass Door Porter, Door Stop. With an oval loop handle, over a ring collar shank, finished with a waisted socle, above the cylindrical base, with a concave stepped cap and plinth. The base decorated with fine horizontal line banding. The rear with conforming lead loading. Date circa 1800. Height 16 1/2 inches, 42cm. Width 4 inches, 10.5cm. Depth 2 inches, 5.5cm.
