A 19th Century Carved Oak Lion. The lion sits on his haunches, his long tail folding underneath him, his front legs raised, as he looks forward from his extravagant mane, with a quizzical expression on his bold face. The lion resting on a rectangular plinth. Height 9 1/2 inches, 24cm. Width 4 1/2 inches, 12cm. Depth 9 1/2 inches, 24cm. Date circa 1850.
