A Marble and Alabaster Model of Giottos Tower in the Piazza del Duomo, Florence.  The model very realistically carved, with gothic windows and gathered column corners, and a pitched roof.  The tower standing on an octagonal ‘paved’ plinth, with stepped bottom.  The tower contained within a glass dome and with a rosewood base.

 

Tower:  Height 18 1/2”  Width 9”  Depth 9”

 

Case:  Height 23”  Diameter 10 3/4”
