A Fire guard, Nursery Guard. The 19th century Fire Guard, Nursery Guard, with a brass rounded top rail, above the diamond pattern interwoven body, supported by circular steel columns. The lower edge with an ash frieze, meeting the steel foot plate, conforming to the shape and returns of the nursery guard. Height 27 1/2 inches, 69.5cm. Width 36 1/4 inches, 92cm.
