A 19th Century Papier Mache Tray by Jennens & Bettridge. The scallop edge rim with concave sides, decorated to the top edge in gilt, the rim with scrolled and foliate lattice panels, from which hang draping flowers, leaves and a basket filled with flowers. The centre of the tray painted with a bunch of garden flowers around which butterflies flit. The whole in good colours with gilt decoration. The rear impressed with a crown, and 'Jennens and Bettridge, London' Date c 1850. Height 1 1/4 inches, width 25 inches, depth 18 1/2 inches.
