A 19th Century Percussion Pistol. The substantial octagonal barrel, with a sighting pin, above the brass tipped ram rod, within brass ringed pipes. The mechanism housing decorated with scrolling leaves, darts, and fans, engrave for Blanch, the barrel engraved London. The trigger guar with engraved floral decoration amongst drums and colours. The trigger guard finished with a pineapple finial. The whole wihin a good walnut stock. Height 4 1/2 inches, 11cm. Width 8 inches, 20cm. Depth 1 3/4 inches, 4.5cm. Date c 1830.
