A 19th Century Terrestrial Desk Globe. The globe, by Smith & Son, 63 Charing Cross, showing 'The Latest Discoveries to the Present Time'. The globe rotating within a brass arm, resting on a mahogany ring turned and shaped column, and thence the circular ringed and ogee base. Height 10 inches, width 6 inches depth 6 inches. Date c 1850
