19TH C TOLE BASKET

A 19th Century Tole Basket, with a bow profile rim, over the oval body, gently tapering inward and downward to a rounded foot rim. The body mounted with a pair of handles, and decorated with gilt edging, enclosing spreading flowers against a red ground. Date circa 1850. Height 4 1/2 inches, 11cm. Width 12 1/2 inches, 32cm. Depth 8 1/2 inches, 22cm.
