A 19th Century Walnut Stocked Percussion Pistol.

The octagonal barrel with damask bands, joining a mechanism with scrolled leaf decoration, the decoration repeated to the trigger guard.  The stock with a hatched hand grip.  The end with a hinged s hell, opening to a ball hole. Complete with ram rod.

Date c 1830.

Length 12 1/2 inches, height 6 1/4 inches.
